Senior Salesforce/Informatica Technical Consultant
Salary: $150,000 – $155,000 per year
About the role
The Salesforce/Informatica/Appian Technical Consultant will analyse business requirements, design technical solutions, develop Salesforce applications, integrate enterprise platforms and support the implementation of secure, scalable cloud solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Functional Consultants and Project Managers throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Analysing business and technical requirements and translating them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Designing Salesforce solution architecture in collaboration with Solution Architects.
Developing custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce and Salesforce APIs.
Configuring Salesforce Informatica, Appian, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Health Cloud and other Salesforce Industry Cloud products.
Designing Salesforce security architecture including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, Restriction Rules and Role Hierarchies.
Developing Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules and custom automation.
Building integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services.
Supporting data migration, data cleansing and master data management activities.
Preparing technical specifications, solution design documents and deployment documentation.
Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to Salesforce development standards and secure coding practices.
About you
Bachelor's degree (Level 7 or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related discipline, OR at least five years of relevant industry experience in enterprise software development and Salesforce implementation.
Minimum three years of commercial Salesforce, Informatica or Appian implementation experience.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Platform architecture.
Experience developing Apex Classes, Apex Triggers and Lightning Web Components.
Experience with Salesforce Flow automation.
Experience integrating Salesforce with external enterprise systems.
Experience working with relational databases and data modelling.
Experience using Git-based version control systems.
Knowledge of secure software development principles.
Experience participating in enterprise software implementation projects.
