Senior Scrum Master/Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master/Project Manager Type: Contract Work Model: Remote - offsite Responsibilities + Drive complex initiatives from concept through delivery by gaining a deep understanding of project scope and aligning stakeholders. + Manage project scope, develop clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business objectives. + Lead end-to-end delivery of projects across cross-functional teams, ensuring completion on schedule, within scope, and within budget. + Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, utilizing Azure DevOps to track progress. + Coordinate activities, monitor progress, and ensure accountability to maintain focus on outcomes and business value. + Identify, communicate, and resolve cross-organizational issues that may impede success. + Mentor and guide team members to support effective project execution. + Analyze project challenges, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation strategies and make data-informed decisions. + Serve as the central coordination point between project teams, leadership, and stakeholders; build strong cross-functional partnerships. + Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions clearly and facilitate productive discussions for consensus. Requirements + 15+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs, with at least 5 years in agile and 5 years in traditional waterfall delivery. + At least 10 years' experience in a large enterprise or federal government environment. + Highly experienced in leading and driving executive engagement to reach project objectives. + Strong sense of urgency, proactively identifying risks, removing blockers, and driving decision-making. + Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management and work tracking. + Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution. + Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. + Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. + PMP and CSM/SAFe Scrum Master certifications. + Experience managing complex multi-team initiatives in fast-moving environments.
