We’re looking for a Senior Security Implementation Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity services business, supporting enterprise customers and delivering complex security implementations across the Microsoft ecosystem.
You’ll work directly with enterprise customers, leading security implementations, troubleshooting complex environments and providing technical guidance from discovery through to deployment and handover.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead complex Microsoft security implementations across enterprise environments.
- Take ownership of technical projects for a key enterprise customer.
- Design, configure, integrate, test and deploy security solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex identity, endpoint, cloud and security-platform issues.
- Lead technical discovery, assessments and solution design.
- Work directly with customers, vendors and technical teams.
- Support pre-sales activities, including technical discovery, solution discussions, presentations and proposals.
- Contribute to customer presentations and technical consulting.
You’ll need deep, hands-on experience across:
- Microsoft Active Directory – forests, domains, trusts, replication, Group Policy, DNS, PKI and security hardening.
- Microsoft Entra ID – Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Protection, enterprise applications, application registrations and hybrid identity.
- Microsoft Defender – particularly Defender for Endpoint and Defender XDR.
- Microsoft Intune – device management, compliance, configuration and endpoint security policies.
- Microsoft Sentinel – data connectors, KQL, analytics rules, workbooks and automation.
- PowerShell or Python – automation, API integration, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Delivery of multiple security-solution integration projects within large enterprises.
- Leading implementations through discovery, design, testing, deployment and operational handover.
- Enterprise change management, implementation risk, validation, rollback and technical documentation.
- Strong customer-facing skills across technical discovery, assessments, solution design, consulting and presentations.
You’ll be someone who can step into an unfamiliar enterprise environment, quickly understand the landscape and take ownership with minimal supervision.
You’ll combine strong technical capability with excellent communication skills and be confident working with engineers, security leaders and senior stakeholders.
Experience with vulnerability management, CIS Controls/Benchmarks, Microsoft Graph API, Azure PaaS, Microsoft 365 security, SIEM/XDR integrations, detection engineering or security automation would be advantageous.
