SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

New York City, USA (Hybrid Working)

A benchmarked salary between $95,000 to $105,000 (DOE) based on your level within our progression framework. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to take on the responsibility of setting the standard for industry leading social media management across our clients through delivery and output.

WHAT YOU'LL BE

  • Copywriting: responsible for ensuring copy reflects each brand's TOV and mirrors social-first best practices, either through direct delivery or through leadership of Social Media Managers.

  • Community Tactics: defining the role of community for getting into culture by identifying reactive and proactive community management opportunities. Ensuring all tactics suggested ladder up to the overall account/campaign strategy.

  • Content ideation and platform strategy: working with our Strategy, and Creative teams to translate the creative direction into specific best in class, social-first content.

  • Client Communication: building meaningful relationships with our clients in regular meetings or pitches and establishing their trust in us as social media experts through industry-leading output.

  • Delivery and Distribution: overseeing and advising on the distribution of all organic content. Using your sophisticated understanding of the platforms to critique the quality of delivery from Social Media Managers.

  • Creators: owning the translation from strategy to Creator distribution tactics. Identifying key opportunities to partner with Creators and working closely with Social Media Managers to execute effectively.

  • Reporting: collaborating with Media Planners and Social Media Managers to ensure we are capturing the performance of organic output and drawing insights from the data. Translating these into relevant actions for future content.

  • Social Media Manager Leadership: responsible for the leadership of Social Media Managers, ensuring they are developing professionally and personally through leadership of weeklies, monthlies and performance reviews. Supporting and contributing to the hiring of new Social Media Managers when required.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You have 3-5 years of experience working in social media, agency side

  • You love brands and social media: you're fascinated by brands, how they market themselves, and use social media to do this. You are naturally curious about the developments of the digital world and excited by its potential.

  • You are a creative thinker: able to work both independently and collaboratively on ideation for content across social

  • You have pride in your work: we treat our client's brands as our own and are meticulous about our approach. You will take real pride in what you deliver and always strive for perfection

  • You have real drive and ambition: you'll be constantly adapting to the ever growing world of social, and we need people who have the mindset of growth as well as the ambition to get there

We operate out of a hybrid model of 3 days in office per week. Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
