Senior Software Developer C++

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in C++ development, particularly within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in Automotive C++ development, along with proficiency in relevant frameworks and algorithm design. Responsibilities will include developing Adaptive Autosar functionality and implementing Driver Monitoring applications on Qualcomm QNX.

Main Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the role include:

• C++ Development of different modules using correct design patterns.
• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
• Write well-designed, testable code.
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Document and maintain software functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
• Comply with project plans and industry standards.
• Ensure software is updated with the latest features.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical Electronics.
• M.Tech or M.Sc. in Electronics/Instrumentation.
• More than 5 years of experience in Automotive C++ development and automation framework design.
• Strong Object Oriented Design skills.
• Strong experience in C/C++ (CPP 17, 23), VC++ programming skills.
• Qualcomm QNX/Linux based platform experience, especially Qualcomm SA8255/7255 is preferred.
• Application algorithm development experience.
• Hands-on experience in different IPC mechanisms such as Shared memory, message queue, and sockets.
• Hands-on experience in implementing multi-threaded applications.
• Knowledge of different design patterns: Structural, behavioral, and Creational.
• Debugging and resolving Linux/QNX core dump issues using GDB.
• Experience with Adaptive Autosar and SOME/IP service Interfaces, Ethernet communication.
• Knowledge of using tools like CANoe/CANoe Ethernet, Rest bus simulation.
• Proven experience in the automotive environment for ADAS/AD functions.
• Domain knowledge in Driver Monitoring Systems is preferred.
• Experience in writing unit test cases in Gtest, Gmock.
• Hands-on experience with Vector HW/CANoe/CANalyzers/CANape/C/CAPL programming/Panel designing/Signal generator, etc.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, UDS, and related tools.
• Must be a good team player and act as per the project needs.
• Hands-on skills to design, build and bring up test benches.
• Experience with revision control tools and issue-tracking tools like JIRA/DOORS/Coverity.
• Business level of English.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Security algorithms – Open SSL, RSA.
• Experience of working in a Scrum team in Agile methodology.
