Senior Software Developer
Salary: RM 6,000 – RM 8,000 per month
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team to develop, design, and maintain our HRMS platform. A key focus of this role is building out our new Payroll module from the ground up. You will be involved across the entire software development lifecycle — from requirement study and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain features across our HRMS system, with a primary focus on building the new Payroll module.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Build responsive web and mobile interfaces using React JS and React Native.
Develop robust backend services and APIs using .NET Core.
Design and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures on Azure SQL.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with product owners, QA, and fellow developers within an Agile delivery framework.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and performance.
Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
About you
Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
Proficient in React JS and React Native.
Strong backend development experience with .NET Core.
Solid experience with Azure SQL (database design, stored procedures, query optimization).
Working experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (deployment, hosting, monitoring).
Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge or hands-on experience with HRMS and Payroll systems.
Familiarity with Malaysian statutory payroll requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, HRD Corp).
Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
