Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Architect and implement robust APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Implement security best practices and ensure data integrity.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across distributed systems.
• Contribute to the evolution of our technology stack and development best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Go, Java, Python).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, consensus algorithms, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
