Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js).
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL), ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology decisions.
• Stay current with emerging backend technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in at least one major backend programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js).
• Strong understanding of API design principles (RESTful) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in an Agile development environment is preferred.
