Senior Software Engineer - Build AI Tools (Python, GoLang)

In this role, you will design and enhance a GenAI prompt security platform to protect AI/LLM-based applications. You’ll partner with engineering and operations teams to scale secure GenAI capabilities across Citi. You will build automated security tests to validate protections for various use cases and engage with vendor products as needed. • Design, develop, and optimise a GenAI prompt security platform for adversarial attacks and prompt injections
• Build and automate a security testing framework for different LLM use cases
• Own scalable security solutions across the organisation
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and partner teams across time zones

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Significant relevant industry experience
• Experience across the full lifecycle of enterprise software design, implementation and operation with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go, plus tooling (Git, Maven, IDEs, Jenkins, Bitbucket)
• Experience designing and implementing secure APIs and libraries
• Desirable: Generative AI/LLM experience and adversarial testing
• Experience in Cyber engineering/Operations (DevSecOps or MLSecOps)
• Experience contributing to architecture/design (reliability, scaling)
• Experience with containerized deployment (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
