Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & DevOps
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & DevOps to design, develop, automate, and support scalable cloud-based platforms and enterprise applications in a banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud-based applications and platforms using AWS, Java, and microservices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes/EKS environments for enterprise applications.
- Implement REST APIs and integrate enterprise applications and middleware.
- Automate application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and operational processes using Python and shell scripting.
- Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK.
- Implement cloud security controls including IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve application/platform reliability.
- Support high-availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency initiatives.
- Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams.
- Follow banking technology, security, change management, and production support standards.
