Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Monitoring Service
Summary
Build and own a managed cloud logs service: design ingestion endpoints, query APIs, retention controls, and onboarding workflows using Go/Rust and Kubernetes.
You build and own customer-facing observability products for a managed logs service. You develop ingestion endpoints, query APIs, retention and access controls, onboarding and configuration workflows, scalable services, and operational automation while participating in customer-facing on-call support.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate managed logs services
- Develop ingestion endpoints and query APIs
- Implement retention and access controls
- Build customer onboarding and configuration workflows
- Create self-service APIs, defaults, and guardrails
- Design scalable and reliable multi-tenant services
- Manage quotas, limits, and cost visibility
- Collaborate with product, cloud support, and site reliability teams
- Participate in a customer-facing on-call rotation
- Improve alerting, runbooks, and operational automation
- Implement observability features and integrations for AI workloads
