Freelancing Opportunity: We are hiring AWS DevOps Engineers for an exciting AI Research and Software Engineering project focused on evaluating and improving advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) through real-world software engineering tasks, infrastructure automation, cloud deployment, and codebase evaluation.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Technical Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure automation using AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, ECS, API Gateway, and Kinesis.
• Proficiency in software development using Python or Go.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, auto-scaling, and down-scaling solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS security automation and policy enforcement across AWS accounts.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with Java tooling, including Maven and Spring.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing self-service automation tools for developers.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Previous participation in LLM research or AI evaluation projects.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level cloud infrastructure and automation.

Availability & Commitment.

• Must be available for 8 hours per day.
• Required overlap of at least 4 hours with PST business hours.

What You'll Work On:

• Develop and support self-service automation tools for developers.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications.
• Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure costs through auto-scaling and down-scaling solutions.
• Implement security automation and enforce policies across AWS accounts.
• Collaborate with product teams to architect and support new cloud workloads.
• Work on real-world software engineering and infrastructure automation tasks.
• Contribute to AI research initiatives focused on evaluating and improving advanced LLM capabilities.
