Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (React-Native)
You will provide technical leadership for the UX Toolkit by building React Native SDKs and applications, designing reusable components, optimizing mobile performance, integrating native iOS and Android functionality, contributing to architecture and roadmaps, and establishing testing and delivery practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and design teams to develop cardholder experiences
- Lead development of React Native SDKs and applications
- Architect and implement reusable React Native components
- Optimize mobile application performance
- Build and maintain scalable front-end solutions with React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, design documents, and system architecture
- Advise stakeholders on mobile and web application development
- Establish engineering best practices
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring
- Integrate React Native applications with native iOS and Android components
- Mentor junior engineers and lead mobile development initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of web and mobile application development experience focused on React Native
- Proficiency with React Native, React Navigation, Expo, and native module development
- Experience integrating React Native with iOS and Android components
- Knowledge of React.js, Redux, and Context API
- Experience with design systems and component-based architecture
- Knowledge of mobile performance optimization, profiling, memory management, and UI rendering
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Familiarity with OAuth, biometric authentication, and secure session management
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or App Center
- Proficiency with Git and pull request workflows
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Experience with Swift or Kotlin
- Experience with payments or fintech
- Experience with App Store and Google Play deployment
