About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and enhancing enterprise-scale solutions for one of the world's largest organizations.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex distributed systems, cloud-native applications, modern software architectures, and emerging AI technologies while collaborating within Agile delivery teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend and frontend engineering expertise, cloud platform experience, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering & Development

• Design and develop enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Build distributed, scalable, and highly available applications capable of supporting enterprise-scale demands.
• Develop modern applications using industry best practices and software engineering standards.
• Ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance of software solutions.

Full Lifecycle Delivery

• Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and delivery practices.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and solution architecture activities.

Agile & DevOps

• Work within Agile Scrum delivery environments.
• Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Apply DevOps principles throughout software development and deployment activities.
• Contribute to automation, monitoring, and deployment improvements.

Cloud & Enterprise Systems

• Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions deployed on AWS and GCP platforms.
• Support enterprise integrations and microservices-based architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed application environments.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Explore and implement modern AI technologies and development frameworks where appropriate.
• Contribute to initiatives involving Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI systems.
• Stay up to date with technological developments and software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience developing production-grade enterprise applications.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • RESTful APIs
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Enterprise Integration Patterns

• Strong frontend development experience with:

  • React
  • Redux

• Strong understanding of:

  • Relational Databases
  • Database Schema Design
  • SQL Optimization

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as:

  • AWS
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Hands-on experience with:

  • EC2
  • ECS
  • Lambda
  • Fargate
  • Step Functions
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug complex distributed systems.

• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
