Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) (JD#11440)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop and scale secure, high-performance digital platforms supporting critical digital infrastructure initiatives. The role involves driving end-to-end solution development, contributing to system architecture, and building scalable, reliable software solutions while promoting engineering best practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related field;
• Must have min. 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, building, and maintaining production-grade applications;
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js and/or Golang;
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design;
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP or Azure;
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform;
• Experience developing automated tests, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing;
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, drive system design and deliver complex engineering solutions;
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience building AI-native products or developing LLM-powered features;
• Familiarity with OLAP or large-scale analytical data stores;
• Experience with message queues and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka;
• Exposure to distributed systems and high-throughput transactional platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance software services with a focus on business value and usability;
• Own the end-to-end design and implementation of complex systems, including technical architecture and documentation;
• Drive system design decisions and provide technical direction to the engineering team;
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members and promote engineering best practices;
• Work closely with business, product, design and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions;
• Champion Agile methodologies and support iterative software delivery;
• Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency while maintaining code quality;
• Ensure production services are reliable through effective monitoring, observability, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
