Senior Software Engineer, Funnel Fighters
Funnel Fighters is a product developed in 's Agent Lab -founded and run by 's CEO, the program that spins up independent startups from scratch. Each one runs like a seed-stage company: a tiny team, a real product, real users, with 's backing and distribution.
Funnel Fighters: It's a product that already runs on live marketing funnels for startups in the Agent Labs portfolio. The role sits between data engineering, backend, and AI engineering. If you've called yourself any of the three, keep reading. You work directly with the founder, 's CEO. Decisions happen in the conversation, not in a roadmap review. You own the engineering. The founder owns the product.
What we're building
Funnel Fighters -We're not building an agent. We're building the eyes an agent needs to run a marketing funnel.
Funnel data lives in five disconnected places: ad platforms, landing pages, product events, and billing. By the time a human spots a leak, the money's gone. We ingest all of it hourly and stitch it into one data model built for a machine to read and reason over: every ad, click, signup, and dollar connected, nothing older than two hours, a full audit trail on every entity. The agent reads it through one API, pushes changes back to the platforms, and measures its own impact.
Built to see everything, so the agent can fix everything.
There's no playbook yet for what a data model built for a machine looks like. We're writing it with real funnels and real money. That's the job.
Who we're looking for
A builder at heart. You'd rather lead the thing than pitch it. This is an engineering role, not a founder track.
You think about data the way a machine will read it: entities, freshness, lineage, and what happens when a source is wrong.
Independent. Hand you something vague, and you come back with something that works.
Strong fundamentals in data pipelines, ingestion, and API design. This role lives in turning messy, high-volume sources into something clean enough to reason over.
Bonus: an instinct for marketing funnels and what actually drives conversion. Not required, but it helps when you're designing the schema meant to capture it.
