Senior Software Engineer | Hybrid (Pretoria)

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support robust software solutions that meet business and user needs.
• Play an active role in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design through to deployment and support.
• Develop and maintain integrations between systems and third-party platforms.
• Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions.
• Analyse, diagnose, and resolve application and system-related issues.
• Contribute to code quality, testing standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in software engineering or application development.
• Proven proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, including Java, Node.js, TypeScript, or Python.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, development methodologies, and coding standards.
• Experience working with source control and collaborative development environments.
• Exposure to SQL and relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
• Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
