Senior Software Engineer in Test
You'll join Grip Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Daxko subsidiary, working on FitnessForce, the club management platform used by gyms and fitness businesses around the world.
About the role
FitnessForce spans Angular web dashboards, two Flutter mobile apps, and a high-throughput .NET Core backend, all built to run the financial engine of fitness clubs worldwide. As a senior SET, you'll own the quality and reliability of that platform, with a sharp focus on the accuracy and security of our payment systems.
You'll build and maintain our automation frameworks in Playwright and JMeter, using AI tools like Cursor to speed up test generation while keeping suites deterministic and easy to maintain.
What you'll do:
- Architect and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks in Playwright, using page object models, custom fixtures, and network interception for reliable, multi-tenant test coverage
- Design and run load testing strategies in JMeter to find backend bottlenecks and database locking issues under high concurrency
- Build test suites that validate payment gateway integrations, including tokenization, webhook processing, transaction idempotency, and 3D Secure edge cases
- Develop strategies to test our asynchronous Kafka architecture, confirming reliable real-time sync across access control, retail, and financial systems
- Design and maintain test plans for complex, multi-system features, keeping clear traceability between epics, test cases, and bug reports
- Organize test suites into smoke, sanity, and regression tiers, lead defect triage, and set clear entry and exit criteria for releases
- Integrate Playwright and JMeter suites into our CI/CD pipeline to gate builds before deployment
What you'll bring:
- 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation within a complex SaaS environment
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Playwright and TypeScript, including page object models, fixtures, and assertions
- A proven track record configuring and analyzing distributed load tests with JMeter
- Strong experience testing payment gateways and complex financial workflows like billing, refunds, and subscription logic
- Experience using AI coding assistants to generate and maintain automated scripts, with the QA discipline to validate accuracy and eliminate flakiness
- Solid understanding of testing RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging systems
Nice to have:
- Experience with mobile test automation frameworks for Flutter apps
- Familiarity with the fitness, gym management, or POS retail software industry
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance and its impact on software testing and data handling
