Senior Software Engineer - Java Microservices with Docker & Kubernetes

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java microservices, Docker and Kubernetes to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Spring Boot applications using Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications to provide timely resolutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Apply emerging trends and technologies in software development to improve application quality and performance
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure reliability and functionality of code
• Work with databases and data structures to store, retrieve and manipulate data
• Implement security measures to protect applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Document technical specifications, user manuals and other relevant materials to support knowledge transfer

Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and RESTful web services
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
• Understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Capability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders
• Skills in problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Competency in communication and interpersonal skills
