Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant backend services using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support various client applications and services.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define software requirements and technical designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions for new features and system enhancements.
• Work with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL for data persistence.
• Integrate with third-party services and payment gateways.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to the existing technology stack.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Demonstrated experience building microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL , MySQL ) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
• Experience with message queuing systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks is advantageous.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git .
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker) is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote role.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
