Senior Software Engineer
Summary
Builds, tests, and deploys Java-based applications and APIs in an Agile team, improving architecture and introducing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy robust, maintainable and readable software, applications, APIs and workflows — primarily using Java
- Introduce industry standards and best practices and continuously simplify the existing software architecture
- Work in Agile teams following Scrum methodology; participate in sprints, stand-ups and planning sessions
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience as a software engineer
- Deep knowledge of object‑oriented or functional programming with proven experience delivering production‑grade systems in Java
- Passion, discipline and commitment when making technical decisions
- Strong critical‑thinking mindset to challenge the status quo
- Proficiency in Italian (preferred) and English
