Senior Software Engineer, Mobile, Core

About The Team

As a mobile software engineer, you will build and maintain a core OKX app with millions of daily active users. You will work cross‑functionally with design, product and other engineering teams to identify customer needs and ship high‑quality new features through fast iterations. This role will help build the backbone of a global platform—from real‑time messaging and account infrastructure to security and risk systems that serve and protect millions of users.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop new features for the all‑in‑one iOS and Android apps as part of a global mobile team.
• Strive for performance optimisation and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Stay on top of industry trends, evaluate new solutions and address unique, fast‑growing business needs.
• Work closely with design and product teams and turn design ideas into quality features that scale to millions of users.
• Collaborate with global development teams and deliver customised solutions for international users while maintaining consistency with the overall architecture.
• Maintain high‑quality technical documentation and improve efficiency in cross‑office and cross‑timezone cooperation.
• Actively use AI tools as a core part of the engineering workflow—both for code generation and for building repeatable workflows that bridge across stacks.

What We Look For In You

• Experience in native iOS/Android development or cross‑platform solutions such as React Native, Flutter or Lua.
• Fluency with at least one of the following languages: Java, Objective‑C, Swift, Kotlin or JavaScript.
• A solid understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
• Embracing an agile development process including TDD, CI and Scrum.
• A passion for mobile technology and building applications for a large user base.
• A solid understanding of LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, RAG and core agent concepts, with proven practical experience delivering AI engineering solutions and building complete AI workflows or pipelines from the ground up.

• Familiarity with the crypto trading/Web3 industry.
