What you'll do
- Develop a unified multi-platform IM SDK to standardize logic and improve stability.
- Transform the messaging engine into a platform for internal teams to build features like VIP services and community chat.
- Create conversational AI interfaces, managing everything from real-time delivery to agent interactions.
- Maintain end-to-end messaging reliability using WebSockets and push notification channels for China and overseas markets.
- Optimize performance metrics including latency, memory usage, battery consumption, and network resilience.
- Implement AI-native engineering workflows, including automated testing, CI integration, and guardrails to improve development efficiency.
- Lead code and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- (Staff level) Drive cross-team technical strategy and decision-making.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with native iOS or Android development.
- Proficiency in at least one of these languages: Swift, Kotlin, Rust, Objective-C, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with shared business-logic layers, such as Rust with UniFFI, KMP, Flutter, or React Native.
- Background in architecting large-scale mobile applications using maintainable design patterns.
- Expertise in messaging stack internals, such as real-time networking, long-connections, or push delivery systems (APNs, FCM, and China vendor push).
- Deep understanding of mobile performance tuning and concurrency.
- Practical experience with AI engineering, including LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent-based workflows.
- Ability to debug complex issues under heavy production load.
Nice to have
- Prior work building or maintaining IM products or SDKs.
- Experience with dynamic, hot-update, or mini-program frameworks.
- Familiarity with Web3 or crypto trading environments.
