Our client operates across 27 countries with over 5,200 people, and a small, self directed team inside it is building a brand new product from scratch. They have hired 18 engineers in Belfast this year and have just moved into a brand new city centre office to support that growth.

The team is still learning too, adopting AI assisted coding and new ways of working. There is no perfect checklist. The right foundations and the right attitude matter most.

The Role and What It Can Do For Your Career

A backend leaning Senior Full Stack role on a greenfield product. Solid C# and .NET at the core, enough React to contribute across the stack. You will own features from design through to production, with a real say in how the product is built.

Your career gets ownership from day one, AI assisted coding in your everyday work and a genuine route into lead and team lead roles. The interview is about how you think, not language trivia.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain scalable full stack applications on modern cloud technologies
• Own features end to end, from design through to production
• Build microservices and API integrations, backed by CI and CD and automated testing
• Contribute to architecture decisions and resolve complex production issues
• Mentor junior engineers and work closely with product owners and architects

What you will need:

• Extensive commercial full stack experience in enterprise environments, strongest on the backend
• Strong modern C# and ASP.NET, including Entity Framework
• Working React with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript or TypeScript
• RESTful APIs, GraphQL and WebSockets
• AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
• CI and CD, automated testing and strong relational database skills, such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server
• Agile team experience and the ability to cut through ambiguity with product owners and business analysts
