- As a Senior Software Engineer - Kernel Security, your responsibilities will include:
- Build, develop, and maintain kernel security features for PlayStation systems
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement security improvements
- Debug and resolve sophisticated security issues within the kernel
- Supervise and analyze security threats to determine the best course of action
- Assist with open-source projects associated with kernel security
- Maintain code quality through meticulous testing and code reviews
- Proficiency in C programming languages, other programming language like C++ is a plus
- Experience with kernel development, freeBSD knowledge is a plus
- Excellent debugging skills and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge in kernel security concepts and practices
- The ability to work autonomously and within a cooperative group
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub
- Advanced knowledge of operating systems and low-level programming
- Effective communication abilities and the capability to clearly explain intricate technical ideas
- Experience contributing to widely recognized open-source projects
- A strong passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry
