Senior Software Engineer, Regulatory Reporting
What you'd do:
- Define and drive technical roadmap for regulatory reporting automation across licensed entities and jurisdictions.
- Lead architecture decisions for data pipelines, submission tooling, and AI-assisted compliance workflows.
- Own delivery of regulatory reporting milestones ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and auditability.
- Serve as primary engineering contact for Compliance, Legal, and Finance stakeholders.
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear technical specifications and engineering designs.
- Drive adoption of AI and LLM tooling to automate review, gap analysis, and interpretation tasks.
- Define and uphold data quality, testing, and reconciliation standards across reporting models.
- Partner with Core Banking engineering on shared data platform capabilities.

- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering foundation in Python, Kotlin, or Java.
- Comfortable writing and optimizing SQL at scale.
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical programmes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have:
- Experience in financial services, regulatory technology, or compliance automation.
- Hands-on production experience with dbt, Databricks, Spark, or BigQuery.
- Familiarity with LLM and agent frameworks including RAG and tool-use patterns.
- Experience operating in multi-jurisdiction, multi-entity environments.
- Track record building robust reconciliation and data quality frameworks for financial reporting. 5+ years of software engineering experience.
