Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Development team. Currently, our Software Development team is responsible for customizing and developing our B2B Cloud platform for the FMCG market throughout the Southeast Asia region. We develop all our applications in-house using Java, and Grails & Springboot Framework. The applications that we developed are used in six countries (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and China), and we constantly innovate and enhance our in-house product. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in the software development life cycle • Perform system testing and documentation whenever necessary • Analyze and design new core modules • Participate in the creation of new Cloud services and products • Perform unit testing and system integration testing • Maintain and support project post-implementation activities • Ensure timely delivery of assigned work Key Attributes: • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organized • Ability to work together with other developers in a team environment • Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion • Ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines • Ability to work on multiple tasks within the given time • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Job Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent • Software engineer with 3 years and above of hands-on experience in Java EE platform and open source technologies • Good understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts • Excellent knowledge in relational databases. • Knowledge in Grails Framework/ Spring Framework/ JSON/ XML/ REST/ SOAP/ Web Services/ MONGODB would be an added advantage • Strong interpersonal skills • Good English communication skills – both written and oral
