- Building tools and automation for FinCrime teams
- Supporting model experimentation, bias and fairness analysis
- Automated training-set maintenance
- Threshold analysis
- Building platform and tooling for Data Scientists and Product Managers
- Removing repetitive engineering work
- Solving complex engineering problems at the intersection of backend engineering, data and machine learning
- Experience with Java (11+, 21+)
- Familiarity with Python
- Experience with batch or stream processing
- Experience with Apache Spark and Flink/Kafka streams
- Familiarity with SQL and no-SQL databases
- Experience with complex systems distributed across several microservices
- Knowledge of system integration patterns
- Strong product mindset and passion for user experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High level of ownership including problem identification, stakeholder buy-in and end-to-end implementation
- ML engineering background such as model training pipelines and automated label quality assurance
- Data engineering background such as experience with large-scale data pipelines and feature engineering
- Familiarity with graph algorithms and embedding techniques
- Awareness of data governance practices
- Experience with Apache Iceberg and/or Trino
