Senior Software Engineer: Shape Cutting-Edge C++ Systems

Garmin Italy Technologies seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop complex C++ software powering Garmin’s marine and outdoor products. You will join a team of professionals, contributing to architecture, performance optimizations, and robust testing practices.

You will collaborate across locations, perform root cause analyses, and participate in feature analysis and system trade-offs while applying Agile SDLC methodologies and modern CI/CD tools.

Develop complex C++ software powering Garmin products. Collaborate via peer code reviews and provide comments. Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions. Improve architecture and performance to meet business needs. Deliver high-quality software with test-driven development. Work with cross-functional teams across locations. Participate in feature analysis and system trade-offs. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Minimum 5 years relevant experience. Strong C++ programming with knowledge of C++14 and above. Experience architecting complex solutions. Solid memory management, multithreading and data structures.
