Topcon Positioning Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Field Survey Applications (C++) to develop field software for Windows/Linux/Android/iOS, interfacing with GNSS receivers and robotic total stations using Qt/QML/C++.
You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan delivery, implement survey routines, and maintain cross‑platform software, with an emphasis on performance and reliability. Remote/hybrid work offered with occasional travel to Concordia office.
Plan and manage delivery schedules with project manager and team. Owns issues for a software module and works with engineering disciplines. Implement changes in module design and delivery. Maintain and enhance systems via programming, testing, and documentation. Support surveying software for Android/iOS/Windows/Linux in Qt/QML/C++. Degree in Geodesy, Geoinformatics, CS, Engineering or related field. At least 3 years software development experience. Experience with Windows development. Knowledge of Qt and QML is a plus. Experience with Linux/Android/iOS development is a plus. Strong C++ (≥3 years) experience. Experience with hardware/software in field surveying is a plus.
