About the role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable web applications across the full technology stack. The successful candidate will work end-to-end — from front-end interfaces through to back-end services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives in an agile team, and takes ownership of quality from development through to production deployment.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications across the full stack.
Build responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Develop robust server-side logic and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python.
Design, implement, and optimise relational database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using SQL.
Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Containerise applications and services using Docker to support consistent development, testing, and production environments.
Manage source code and collaborate through GitHub, following established branching and code review practices.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies — sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and contribute to technical design discussions.
About you
React.js: Strong hands-on experience building component-based, responsive user interfaces and managing application state.
Node.js: Proven ability to develop back-end services and RESTful APIs, with an understanding of asynchronous patterns.
Python: Solid programming experience for back-end development, scripting, or data processing.
AWS: Practical experience deploying and managing applications on AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
SQL: Strong database development skills — schema design, query optimisation, and data modelling.
Docker: Experience containerising applications and working within containerised environments.
GitHub: Proficient with Git-based version control, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
7+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
A portfolio, GitHub profile, or demonstrable track record of delivered applications is highly regarded.
