Summary
Contract Senior Solution Architect (12+12 months) via Recruitment Hive for a Federal Government client, designing solution architectures aligned with business goals and maintaining solution documentation. Requires NV1 clearance, 7+ years architecture experience, and advanced AWS/Azure cloud skills; hybrid WFH across ACT, QLD, VIC, NSW, SA.
Salary: $160 - $180 per hour (inc super)
- ACT, QLD, VIC, NSW, SA. WFH hybrid
- 12 + 12-month contract (NV1 security clearance required)
- 7 years of Architecture experience with broad technical knowledge

Delivering high quality solution designs and architecture that are fit for business purpose and ensure solutions align with client goals and objectives.
Duties - Senior Solution Architects
- Development, ownership and accountability for creation and maintaining all relevant documentation pertaining to the solution.
- Engage with the business to understand the tactical and strategic objectives and requirements.
- Engage with the enterprise architects, solution leads, business representatives, project managers, development team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution alignment across domains.
Skills / Experience - Senior Solution Architects
- Demonstrated, advanced experience with cloud-based products including AWS and Azure with relevant certifications in Architecture and ideally TOGAF or equivalent certified
- Excellent listening, communication and stakeholder management skills, must be able to translate business capability and need into technical requirements.
- Experience balancing fast-paced project and program, project and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
