Senior Solutions Architect

You will lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation activities to show how an AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets technical and business needs. You will own technical evaluations, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments. You will partner with account executives to execute account strategies, advise customers on modern software development and cloud practices, build trusted customer relationships, and share customer feedback and competitive insights with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation activities.
• Drive technical evaluations, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
• Collaborate with account executives and regional sales teams on account strategies.
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders.
• Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
• Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
• Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies.
• Create reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical collateral.

Requirements

• Have 8+ years of customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar experience.
• Understand the end-to-end software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment workflows.
• Have hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
• Understand cloud computing concepts, deployment, security, and operations options.
• Lead proofs of concept or value, contribute to tenders or audits, and run workshops or value stream assessments.
• Communicate and present technical information to practitioners and senior business and technical decision makers.
• Build trusted relationships and advocate for customers with internal stakeholders.
