Senior Solutions Engineer who designs data centre solutions (power, cooling, connectivity) for enterprise, cloud, hyperscale, and colocation customers, leading technical discussions, workshops, and presentations while collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams.
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner closely with the commercial team in designing and delivering end-to-end data centre solutions. This role focuses on supporting enterprise, cloud, hyperscale, and colocation customers, combining technical consulting, solution design, and customer engagement across the full sales lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales teams to understand customer technical, operational, and business requirements. Design and propose data centre solutions, including power, cooling, space planning, connectivity, and deployment strategies. Lead technical discussions, customer workshops, site visits, and solution presentations. Support RFI/RFP responses by developing detailed proposals and technical documentation. Work cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, Operations, Delivery, and Commercial teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Provide expert guidance on data centre infrastructure, capacity planning, and customer fit-out requirements. Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the pre-sales and solutioning process. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data centres, telecommunications, critical facilities, or infrastructure-related environments. Strong knowledge of data centre systems, including power, cooling, connectivity, and operational best practices. Proven experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, consulting, or customer-facing technical roles. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric solutions.
