Senior Specialist - Quality Assurance

The Quality Advisor works closely with the Asia HSEQ team and reports to the Associate Quality Excellence (India). This person will be key in implementation of surveillance and monitoring programmes across our projects to ensure a robust and compliant quality culture is in place that aligns to our IMS and Way of Working. This person will also ensure quality compliance and liaise with Project teams where required, closely work with the Associate Quality Excellence (India) to provide source support and guidance to our Project Leaders, Quality leads, and their teams deliver an effective quality management framework across their project programmes.

  1. Ensure that our people follow our way of working, the requirements of the Project Life Cycle (PLC) and Integrated Management System (IMS)
  2. Support and promote our quality management system (QMS)
  3. Perform online scheduled quality audits and reviews across all projects and undertake surveillances as required, including reports.
  4. Use quality management tools and techniques to promote continual improvement and quality awareness
  5. Predict quality performance using trends and reports, lead actions to address risk elsewhere in the business
  6. Provide quality management support and assistance, working closely with the project teams
  7. Provide inputs to our quality statistical tracking and trending data, provide weekly and monthly reports.
  8. Advises the projects on suitable quality objectives, KPIs and targets in line with WSP and client quality requirements, report for any deviations noted.
  9. Following a risk-based approach, assist in the preparation of the quality audit schedule, ensuring compliance and identify any gaps and/or improvements
  10. Report audit findings with recommendations for correction, corrective and improvement to the management
  11. Participate in management meetings providing insight into the key areas of risks and opportunities
  12. Reviews, collates, and communicates all quality reports from Projects, prepares countries overall KPI reporting and sends to Quality Excellence Team Leader for senior level reporting.
  13. Monitor quality trends, conducts analysis, and provides reporting as may be required.
  14. Reviews and ensures follow-up of any quality related complaints or concerns.

Expertise

  1. Overall 6 to 8 years’ experience, 2 years minimum with an international design or construction consultancy. (preferably Asia/ China Region/Singapore)
  2. Formal training in an ISO 9001:2015 related course
  3. Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering and/or Construction related discipline
  4. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in English
  5. Experience of operational auditing
  6. Basic knowledge of database computer systems and software including Microsoft word, excel, visio and SharePoint.
  7. Flexible approach to managing, prioritising and delivering to deadlines in a demanding environment
  8. Experience of documentation processes within an engineering, design, or construction environment
  9. Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
