Structural CAD Designer – Hull Structures (Cadmatic/AutoCAD)
As a Structural CAD Designer – Hull Structures at GustoMSC, you will focus on the structural design and modelling of hull and structural components for ships and offshore structures, including wind turbine installation vessels.
Using Cadmatic and AutoCAD, you will translate engineering input into accurate, practical and constructible 3D models and 2D basic construction drawings. You will work closely with engineers, fellow designers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements, internal standards and manufacturing needs.
This is a hands-on CAD design role, with a strong focus on hull structures, structural basic design and the practical implementation of engineering requirements rather than structural calculations.
You will also play an important role in the use and further implementation of Cadmatic Hull within the GustoMSC design process, acting as a technical point of contact and supporting other designers in using the system effectively.
