Senior Supervisor, Gas Distribution Construction and/or Maintenance - DOT

Primary Purpose
Supervises crews and contractors in executing complex construction and maintenance projects. Ensures compliance with specifications, implements standardized inspection protocols, and fosters continuous improvement in field practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees the development and enforcement of gas-specific safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations.
• Guides the installation of gas facilities, restoration, and paving work through company and contractor crews.
• Leads the prequalification, selection, and performance assessment of third-party contractors and suppliers.
• Implements lean construction methodologies and standardized work practices to reduce waste and enhance output.
• Leads post-construction reviews and root cause analysis for gas leaks, repair failures, or rework events.
• Implements standardized inspection and reporting procedures to ensure consistent quality across all field operations and contractor work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
