Senior Supervisor, Gas Distribution Engineering - DOT

Primary Purpose
Coordinates engineering teams to achieve project objectives and regulatory compliance. Develops short-term operational plans, reviews project documentation, and promotes process improvements to support efficient and reliable system operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and execution of engineering projects providing technical guidance, ensuring the gas distribution networks are designed to meet future customer demand forecasts accurately.
• Applies advanced knowledge in system components to oversee the design and specification processes, maintaining high safety and performance standards.
• Supervises the creation and upkeep of technical reports and plans, ensuring they support effective project execution and regulatory compliance.
• Implements comprehensive safety measures to ensure the integrity of the gas distribution network, utilizing the latest detection and prevention technologies.
• Facilitates emergency preparedness initiatives to ensure that teams are well-equipped to respond to incidents swiftly and effectively.
• Guides detailed assessments of project feasibility and design, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and operational goals.
• Plans and allocates resources efficiently, ensuring equipment and infrastructure upgrades are aligned with reliability and operational efficiency targets.
