Senior Supervisor, Materials Planning and Scheduling

Primary Purpose
Supervises multiple planning teams or projects, developing operational plans, validating forecasts, and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity and resource efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees multiple planning activities and ensures alignment with section goals.
• Develops routine operational plans for material scheduling and inventory control.
• Resolves escalated issues related to material availability and supplier performance.
• Provides input on policy and procedure improvements for planning processes.
• Tracks and reports on section-level performance metrics for material planning.
• Coordinates cross-functional collaboration for scheduling priorities and resource allocation.
• Guides team leads in implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supports budget adherence for labor and operational costs related to planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
