Senior System and Business Analyst

Senior analyst role translating retail lending business needs into technical specs, designing microservices and integrations, and guiding Agile teams in an enterprise banking program.
We are looking for a Senior System and Business Analyst to join a retail lending technology programme focused on designing and delivering enterprise banking solutions. The role combines systems and business analysis, with a strong emphasis on translating business requirements into technical specifications, designing integrations and microservices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
• Gather, analyse and clarify business and functional requirements
• Translate user requirements into detailed system specifications for developers
• Independently lead analytical topics and workstreams
• Design functional and system solution concepts
• Model business processes, system logic and business rules
• Prepare user interface mock ups and functional solution documentation
• Participate in technical solution design
• Analyse integrations across distributed systems and microservices
• Design and document REST and SOAP services
• Support users during testing activities
• Coordinate testing and implementation activities
• Work closely with developers, testers and Product Owners within Scrum
• Facilitate workshops and document decisions, risks and open points
• Challenge business requirements and propose realistic alternative solutions
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of experience in systems analysis
• Strong practical experience gathering and interpreting user requirements
• Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications for development teams
• Strong understanding of SOA, Web Services, REST and system integrations
• Experience using SOAP UI or Postman
• Experience designing solutions based on microservices
• Experience documenting REST services using Swagger or YAML
• Strong IT systems modelling experience
• Very good knowledge of UML
• Experience with at least one CASE tool, preferably Enterprise Architect
• Good SQL knowledge
• Understanding of distributed systems architecture
• Experience independently leading analytical workstreams
• Fluent Polish
• English at minimum B2 level

• Retail lending or credit process experience
• Experience designing lending processes
• Knowledge of BPMN
• Experience with Camunda
• Higher education in Computer Science or a related field
