Senior System Architect
Core Responsibilities
- System Design: Design high-level architecture blueprints and technical documentation covering data flow, security protocols, and component interactions.
- Business Alignment: Translate business goals into technical requirements, conducting cost-benefit and risk analyses for technology investments.
- Technology Evaluation: Research emerging technologies to create and maintain an organization’s technology roadmap and future development.
- Technical Mentorship: Advise and mentor engineering teams, guiding them in the execution of design specifications, troubleshooting, and code quality (e.g., refactoring).
- Integration & Security: Architect solutions requiring the integration of multiple platforms, clouds, or operating systems while enforcing cybersecurity standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Typically 6+ to 10+ years of experience in system architecture, software/hardware engineering, and enterprise systems.
- Technical Acumen: Deep, hands-on knowledge in areas such as cloud infrastructure, distributed computing, and enterprise integration technologies (e.g., Java EE, Python, Docker).
- Leadership Skills: Strong project management, communication, and situational awareness to align cross-functional teams with organizational objectives.
