Senior System, DevOps & Software Engineer

HCLTech is seeking a Senior System, DevOps & Software Engineer in Milan to design, build, and support scalable cloud-native platforms using microservices and Kubernetes. You will develop and automate CI/CD pipelines, manage hybrid infrastructure, and ensure robust Linux environments.

The role emphasizes IaC, container orchestration, and collaboration within Agile teams to drive digital transformation for Telco & Media clients.

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions. Architect and implement cloud-native applications and microservices-based platforms. Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices and tools. Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure. Administer and harden Linux environments and support networking operations. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and container orchestration solutions. Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Drive code quality through code reviews, best practices, and design standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments. 10-12+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related roles. Experience with REST APIs and Event-Driven Systems. Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform. Proficient in Git, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Infrastructure as Code and DevOps automation.
