Senior Systems Engineer
Summary
Maintains and secures enterprise IT infrastructure, focusing on Active Directory, Group Policy, and Veeam backups for a large healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi.
Active Directory Administration
Administer and maintain Domain Controllers, (OUs) & User and Group Management
Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory replication and authentication issues.
Conduct routine AD health checks and maintenance activities.
Support domain security hardening and compliance initiatives.
Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID is a plus.
Group Policy Management
Design, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Implement security policies and system restrictions using GPOs.
Enterprise Veeam Backup Administration
Administer and manage Enterprise Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure.
Conduct restores testing and disaster recovery exercises and optimize backup performance.
Manage backup repositories, retention policies, and storage utilization.
Infrastructure Support & Monitoring
Monitor server Domain Controller & Backup infrastructure availability and performance.
Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents.
Education and Certification –
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in System Administration or Infrastructure Support roles.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent Microsoft certifications
Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
