Our SEs go beyond simple product explanations; they act as "Trusted Advisors" who deeply understand customer business challenges and propose the optimal use of cloud technologies. This is a highly impactful and rewarding position with the opportunity to significantly transform how our customers operate and do business. **About the Team** The Nutanix presales organization is a global team of over 800 highly skilled and customer-centric professionals. The Service Provider SE team you will join is dedicated to managing large enterprise accounts in the telecommunications industry. Working hand-in-hand with the Service Provider sales team, we leverage presales consulting, technical guidance, and hands-on support to design and propose optimal solutions tailored to our customers' business needs. **Key Responsibilities** Working closely with the Enterprise Sales team, you will act as a technical leader, driving engagements from the creation of sales opportunities to the successful execution of technical evaluations (PoC/PoV). - **Strategic Planning & Solution Proposal** - Understand customer challenges and accurately articulate the value and benefits of Nutanix solutions. - Collaborate with the sales team to develop account strategies, design technical solutions, and create proposal materials. - Drive proposal activities through whiteboard sessions, workshops, product demos, and PoC/PoV execution. - **Stakeholder Collaboration & Relationship Building** - Build strong, trusting relationships with customers, serving as their primary technical point of contact (Technical Advisor). - Provide customer feedback to internal teams (e.g., Global Product Management and Engineering) to contribute to product improvements. - Collaborate within the presales team to obtain technical approvals efficiently and professionally. - **Pursuit of Expertise & Ambassador Activities** - Establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific Nutanix product areas, enhancing our technical presence both internally and externally. - Develop a deep understanding of IT investment trends. - Continuously catch up on new features, latest technologies, and industry trends. **Required Experience & Skills (MUST)** - 6–9 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role. - 3–5 years of experience as a Presales Engineer. - Excellent presentation and communication skills to clearly explain complex technical topics and propose optimal solution strategies. - Strong technical understanding and flexible adaptability to new technologies and changing market landscapes. - Strong self-management skills to concurrently manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. - Collaborative mindset to work smoothly with diverse internal and external stakeholders. - English proficiency: Reading and writing (Required). Business-level speaking is highly preferred. - High ethical standards, professionalism, and a strong resonance with our core values (Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart). **Preferred Experience & Skills (WANT)** - Presales experience in data center/cloud technologies (storage, virtualization, public cloud, Kubernetes, databases, automation, etc.). - Deep technical knowledge of Nutanix products and expertise (SME) in specific technical domains. - Experience mentoring junior staff or training new employees.
