Senior Technical Consultant QA Redshift

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team located in Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Chennai / Nagpur / Pune.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.

• Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

• Quality Automation Engineer 2 - support migration from Redshift to Databricks (Healthcare)
• We are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated test suites for a Databricks-based healthcare data lakehouse. This role builds test automation across ingestion, transformation, data quality, and governance layers — ensuring pipeline correctness, performance, and security compliance.
• Develop automated test scripts for ingestion components: format handling, schema drift, business key extraction
• • Build regression test suite for vault layer: hash key determinism, satellite idempotency, referential integrity
• • Execute SIT test cases: end-to-end pipeline validation, temporal join correctness, DQ gate injection tests
• • Validate PHI masking behavior across all platform layers and user role tiers
• • Execute and document performance tests (concurrent job processing, large dataset query performance)
• • Perform data equivalence testing: new platform output vs legacy system output on equivalent datasets
• • Maintain automated regression suite for post-deployment validation
• • Document test results, defects, and reproducible test steps with clear acceptance criteria
• • 4+ years of QA/test automation experience; 2+ years testing data engineering pipelines
• • Proficiency in Python for test automation (pytest, custom scripts)
• • Strong SQL skills for data validation queries and reconciliation
• • Experience with Databricks or cloud data platform testing
• • Familiarity with dbt test framework and data quality testing patterns
• • Healthcare data or regulated data environment experience preferred
• • Strong attention to detail; ability to identify and document data discrepancies clearly
