Senior Technical Officer (Building)
Summary
Oversee building maintenance at a hospital, coordinating repairs for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems while managing contractors and documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
- To plan preventive maintenance work (PPM) as assigned by the supervisor / HOD
- To work with the technicians to troubleshoot electrical fault, reinstate power supply and provide recommendation to prevent reoccurrences.
- To work with the technicians to troubleshoot air condition fault, reinstate air conditioning system back to normal and provide recommendation to prevent reoccurrences.
- To work with the technicians to repair burst water pipe, mechanical work, medical gas systems and other related facilities equipment.
- To maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation for all maintenance activities.
- Contractor & Vendor Management.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Coordination.
- To obtain quotes through the organisation's e-procurement portal.
Professional/ Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or fresh higher NITEC in electrical / mechanical / facilities management or NITEC with minimum 2 – 3 years building maintenance related experience.
- A quick thinking leader who is knowledgeable in troubleshooting and is able to give instructions promptly
Working Hours:
- Mon - Thu, 8:30am to 6.00pm
- Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Open to work over time and weekends in events of emergencies
