Senior Technical Product Owner

Summary

Leads the technical roadmap for a new cross-functional team that builds systems and tools to scale game delivery, coordinating engineering, QA, operations, and commercial stakeholders.

RubyPlay is a place where passion meets competence. Since 2017, we've created 250+ innovative games and built 100+ strong partnerships worldwide.

Proud to be:
  • The Winner at BFTH Arena Awards — Best Online Casino Game
  • Shortlisted for SBC Awards 2024 — Casino/Slots Developer of the Year
  • A strong player across 10+ global markets
  • A trusted workplace for hundreds of specialists from 34 countries
As we continue to scale, we're building a new cross-functional Games Delivery stream — a critical capability that will own the systems, tools, and processes that make scalable game delivery possible. This stream connects product, engineering, QA, operations, integrations, and commercial stakeholders, and will gradually take ownership of delivery capabilities currently distributed across multiple teams.

We're now looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner — a strategic, delivery-focused leader ready to bring structure to a complex and evolving technical domain, and drive scalable, reliable, and transparent delivery across the organisation.
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog for the Games Delivery domain — making sure we're building the right things at the right time
  • Uncover dependencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to automate or simplify
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clean, actionable product capabilities, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Connect engineering, QA, product, operations, integrations, and commercial teams
  • Spot delivery risks early, manage cross-team dependencies, and keep everyone aligned on priorities, progress, and changes
  • Keep documentation, process flows, and delivery requirements clear, accessible, and up to date
  • Use data, feedback, and delivery metrics to identify where we're stuck and continuously improve how we ship
  • Proven ownership of a technical product domain — from early discovery through delivery, adoption, and ongoing iteration — ideally in platform, SaaS, gaming, or fintech
  • Comfortable navigating APIs, system architecture, technical dependencies, and operational tooling
  • Solid backlog management skills — well-structured stories, crisp acceptance criteria, and release-ready documentation
  • Experienced in collaborating with engineering, QA, architects, product, operations, and commercial teams — and skilled at keeping them aligned
  • Strong grasp of Agile delivery, roadmap planning, prioritisation, and dependency management across multiple teams
  • Confident leading discovery workshops, refinement sessions, and cross-functional alignment conversations
  • Familiarity with Impact Mapping, Story Mapping, BDD, or DDD is a plus
  • Background in iGaming, B2B platforms, aggregators, regulated markets, or partner-facing products is a strong advantage
What you'll tackle early on:
  • Get up to speed on a complex technical landscape with ownership distributed across multiple teams
  • Build alignment across a diverse group of stakeholders — each with their own priorities and perspectives
  • Establish a clear sense of direction while keeping up with evolving business needs
Success metrics you'll own:
  • A clear, transparent roadmap and backlog that everyone understands and trusts
  • Better delivery predictability — fewer blockers, clearer visibility, smoother releases
  • Reduced manual effort, fewer dependencies, and streamlined operational workflows
  • Real, measurable adoption of the capabilities you deliver — not just "we shipped it"
What success looks like in a year:
  • Games Delivery is recognised as a mature, trusted product stream that teams depend on
  • Delivery processes are scalable, predictable, and transparent
  • Improved efficiency, reliability, and business readiness across the board
  • Knowledge is distributed — no single points of failure, shared ownership across the team
  • Remote-first flexibility — Work from anywhere with a setup for deep focus and work-life balance
  • Learning & growth — Development budgets and dedicated days to upskill and explore new areas
  • Health & wellness — Medical coverage and well-being budgets to help you feel balanced, strong, and supported
  • Yearly bonus — Rewards based on company success and your impact
  • Career growth — Vertical and horizontal opportunities to grow and advance
  • Global team — Talented, diverse colleagues you’ll enjoy working with
If you're looking for a role with real ownership and impact — we should talk!
