We're looking for a Senior Technical Sales Consultant to join Vynco, where you'll bring strong electrical and switchboard manufacturing expertise to the preparation of accurate, competitive estimates and quotations for a diverse range of customer projects.

About the role
Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, this is a hands-on technical and commercially focused role responsible for managing the end-to-end quoting process, providing specialist electrical advice and supporting the wider team to convert opportunities into sales.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing electrical drawings and project specifications to prepare accurate estimates and competitive quotations.
- Develop technical solutions for switchboards, control panels and associated electrical products, considering materials, labour, manufacturing costs and commercial margins.
- Provide specialist technical advice to customers and internal teams, ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards.
- Work closely with switchboard manufacturing teams to ensure project specifications, quality standards and delivery requirements are met.
- As a senior member of the team, provide technical guidance and support to the wider Technical Sales team, contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
About you
You'll bring a strong electrical background, sound commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, cost-effective solutions.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, switchboards, control panels and relevant industry standards.
- Experience interpreting electrical drawings, technical specifications and preparing detailed quotations.
- Commercial acumen, with an understanding of project costing, pricing, margins and sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to support and share technical expertise with others.
