Senior Teradata Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions on the Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform. Develop and optimize complex Teradata SQL, BTEQ, and shell-script automation for large-scale batch processing. Build and support enterprise data ingestion, transformation, and data integration frameworks. Perform SQL performance tuning, workload optimization, and production support for mission-critical data platforms. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver enterprise data warehouse solutions. Support enterprise data modernization, automation, and batch scheduling using Control-M and related tools. Requirements Strong experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ETL/ELT, Data Engineering, and enterprise data platform technologies. Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump, and TPT. Proven experience developing enterprise ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and shell scripting. Strong expertise in SQL performance tuning, workload management, and large-volume data processing. Experience with Control-M or equivalent enterprise scheduling tools. Working knowledge of Hadoop technologies (Hive, Spark, Kafka) and enterprise data integration. Experience supporting banking, financial services, or other large enterprise data warehouse environments. Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and production support experience. Preferred Experience with Python, Git, Linux, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD practices. Exposure to enterprise cloud data platforms or data modernization initiatives. Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
