Senior Test Automation Engineer

- Proven experience of 6+ years in automated software testing within complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of QA methodology, including test planning, test design, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Java 17+, object-oriented programming, Clean Code principles, and POJO-based design patterns
- Practical experience with RESTAssured, JUnit 5, and Lombok for API test automation
- Solid knowledge of REST architecture, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML payloads, and SOAP/WSDL contracts
- Strong experience in REST and SOAP API testing, integration testing, backend services, and data distribution processes
- Hands-on experience with test reporting tools, particularly Allure
- Good experience in SQL and database testing, including data validation and backend process verification
- Practical experience in testing integration solutions, asynchronous flows, Kafka-based integrations, data pipelines, and event-driven architecture
- Experience with qTest and Jira for test management and defect tracking
- Strong Git skills, including branching strategies, pull request workflows, code reviews, and conflict resolution
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution using Jenkins and/or Bamboo
- Good understanding of Agile ways of working and Scrum ceremonies
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to an Automation First approach
- Experience in preparing test evidence, automation reporting, and test coverage documentation
- Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members
- Experience with AI-assisted testing and GitHub Copilot usage in test automation
